The DPD branded robots are operating now in Milton Keynes and delivering parcels to Shenly Church End and Shenley Lodge. Milton Keynes is well known nationally for its delivery robots for few years now.

DPD have teamed up with Cartken, a tech company to bring parcel deliveries to MK. The scheme is in its trial period at the moment and promises that if the trial proves successful the robots will operate across the whole city of Milton Keynes.

Obviously bringing the robots to the picture doesn't mean that DPD drivers will be fully replaced anytime soon. Firstly it's not possible at this stage, but on the other hand the company doesn't want to walk this path and introduce robots only deliveries. Robots are 

a sustainable solution and DPD is hoping that vans can be taken off the roads in the future. The technology is proven to be really good and with the DPD branding the robots look decent. The trial is part of many innovative green solutions that DPD is introducing.
