Szkoły podstawowe i średnie w Milton Keynes ogłosiły blisko 100% więcej ofert pracy niż przed rokiem (1,153 w stosunku do 585 sprzed roku).

Warto podkreślic, że 95% szkół zwróciło uwagę, że ma niedobory kadrowe i potrzebuje więcej nauczycieli. Procesy rekrutacyjne się znacznie pogorszyły. Teaching vacancies across Milton Keynes doubled last year according to the revealed data. The Association of School and College Leaders made a valid point, that teachers shortages are currently causing a lot of problems in the system. Primary and secondary schools in Milton Keynes posted nearly 100% job offers more than last year. It was 1,153 announced vacancies compare to with 585 from the year before.

It's highlighted that 95% of schools mentioned that they struggle with lack of staff and they need more teachers. But recruiting processes gone down significantly, also due to the fact that nearly a third of teachers leave the profession within five years since they were first qualified to do the job.

That's very worrying situation, because if schools don't have enough teachers, it's hard for them to improve the educational standards. Strategy for education has to be improved and certainly backed with the sufficient funding, adequate to the needs.
