Bardzo lubiany i celebrowany mural urodzonej w Milton Keynes Leah Williamson, kapitan piłkarskiej reprezentacji Anglii kobiet, został odnowiony dzięki zaangażowaniu lokalnej społeczności. Mural został niespodziewanie zniszczony, zadziwiające, że ktoś uważał takie działanie za normalne.

"Lwice" wygrały Mistrzostwa Europy w 2022 roku, a Leah Williamson została uhonorowana muralem w Newport Pagnell. Marc z MurWalls stworzył ten wyjątkowy projekt, który oprócz piłkarki przedstawia lwa i widoczna jest na nim także angielska flaga. Zbiórka społecznościowa osiągnęła ponad £1,000 w celu odnowienia projektu przez tego samego artystę, który go stworzył.

Bardzo budujące, gdy obserwuje się tak ogromne zaangażowanie społeczne na rzecz dobra wspólnego. Ten mural ma wyjątkowe znaczenie dla lokalnej społeczności i bardzo cieszy, że wraca na należne sobie miejsce.

A much-appreciated and celebrated mural of MK-born Leah Williamson, Lionesses captain, has been brought back to life and restored thanks to the comittment of the local community. This artistic work was surprisingly painted over in a pointless bid to "tidy it up". 

It's hard to comprehend why would someone like to damage this kind of great piece of art. 

Following Lionesses winning Euro 2022 Leah Williamson was recognised with an amazing mural in her hometown of Newport Pagnell. The mural created by Marc from MurWalls has celebrated great Women's England team footballer and also featured the lion and England flag. A crowdfunder effort raised over £1,000 to ask the original artist to restore this MK based great artistic project.

It's fantastic to see such a dedication from the local community to make this restoration work actually happen. This great mural is reflecting on huge success achieved on the European stage by the member of the local community.  It's great feeling to see it back where it belongs.
