Podwyżki cen biletów autobusowych w Milton Keynes od 17 lipca

Wzrastają ceny biletów dla mieszkańców Milton Keynes. Arriva ogłosiła podwyżkę, która wejdzie w życie z dniem 17 lipca (niedziela). Główny operator usług transportu autobusowego w mieście zdecydował się na podwyżki ze względu na rosnące ceny i inflację.

Dzienny bilet dla dorosłych, dzienny bilet rodzinny i bilet trzydniowy pozostaną w tej samej cenie co dotychczas, podczas gdy ceny pozostałych biletów wzrosną o 5,5% i zostaną zaokrąglone do najbliższych 10 pensów. Opłaty bezdotykowe nie będą już posiadać zniżki względem płatności gotówkowych.
Saver Fares (oszczędnościowe bilety) w Milton Keynes również będą obarczone podwyżkami, w tym bilety tygodniowe,
4-tygodniowe i studenckie. Cena Orbit Saver Fare Zone, który jest kolejną opcją na oszczędniejsze podróżowanie, także wzrośnie. Bus fares will increase for residents across Milton Keynes. Arriva has announced increase to their fares from 17 July, Sunday. The city's major bus operator decided about putting prices up because of rising inflation and prices.
Adult Day tickets, Family Day tickets and 'Flexible 3 Day Bundle' have fares frozen, but unfortunately the other types of tickets will rise by 5,5% and will be rounded up to the nearest 10 pence. Contactless payments will not be discounted anymore, they will be equally priced as cash payments for your journey.
The Milton Keynes Saver Fares will see a rise in price for weekly, four weekly and all student tickets. Unfortunately the increase will also be seen in the Orbit Saver Fare Zone. These changes are visible everywhere and increases in transport reflect the current situation in the UK's economy. Let's hope that we won't experience further negative surprises like these in the near future.
