Niektóre puby i restauracje w Milton Keynes potwierdziły, że otwierają się 12 kwietnia. Będzie można korzystać z oferty jedynie na zewnątrz. Niektóre miejsca zdecydowały jednak poczekać do jeszcze większego poluzowania restrykcji, które przewidziano na maj. Tym razem nie będzie trzeba zamawiać posiłku, by móc wypić alkohol.

Dwa puby z sieci Wetherspoons otwarte zostaną ponownie w MK 12 kwietnia. The Moon Under Water, mieszczący się w Central Milton Keynes i Captain Reidley's Shooting Party in Bletchley. Sieć Greene King's otworzy około 1/3 wszystkich pubów, jakimi zarządza w skali kraju.
W Milton Keynes otwarcie obejmie także: Lakeside Pub, usytuowany przy jeziorze Willen, Hungry Horse pub przy jeziorze Furzton, the Caldecote pub w Caldecote, Ye Olde Swan w Woughton on the Green (Chef and Brewer) i Broughton Hotel (Hungry Horse).
Inne lokalne puby, które potwierdziły otwarcie 12 kwietnia to: the Kings Arms w Newport Pagnell, The Old Beams w Shenley Lodge, the Wavendon Arms w Wavendon, The Three Trees w Bletchley, the Black Horse w Great Linford and the Cross Keys, mieszczący się w Woolstone.
Zasada spotykania się w grupach maksymalnie sześciu osób, pochodzących z maksymalnie dwóch gospodarstw domowych będzie obowiązywać w pubach na zewnątrz.
Także kilka restauracji zdecyduje się na otworzenie swoich biznesów już 12 kwietnia. Będzie to w dużej mierze uzależnione od możliwości konkretnych restauracji odnośnie miejsca na zewnątrz. Spora część obiektów z branży cateringowej poczeka z otwarciem do maja.

Some of MK pubs and restaurants have confirmed they will re-open for outdoor visitors on April 12.
Some brands though decided to wait till May regardless of whether they have or not space outside for their customers.
This time round - unlike last year - people will be able to drink alcohol without ordering "substantial meal" as long as there will be enough space.
Two Wetherspoons pubs in MK will re-open on April 12. The Moon Under Water at Central Milton Keynes and Captain Reidley's Shooting Party in Bletchley. Greene King's chain will re-open about third of their pubs nationwide.
In Milton Keynes that will include: Lakeside Pub on Willen Lake, the Furzton Lake Hungry Horse pub, the Caldecote pub at Caldecote, Ye Olde Swan at Woughton on the Green (Chef and Brewer) and Broughton Hotel (Hungry Horse).
Other local pubs which confirmed an April 12 re-opening: the Kings Arms at Newport Pagnell, The Old Beams at Shenley Lodge, the Wavendon Arms at Wavendon, The Three Trees in Bletchley, the Black Horse in Great Linford and the Cross Keys at Woolstone.
The rule of six will still apply in all pubs and outdoor venues and a maximum of two households can meet.
Few MK's restaurants confirmed they will re-open on April 12 as well. It all depends on whether they will be able to provide enough outdoor seating and make it available for the customers.
Majority will still wait until lockdown measures will be loosened further and inviting customers to the restaurant will become an available option once again.
