Teatr w Milton Keynes ogłosił partnerstwo z organizacją charytatywną przy Milton Keynes University Hospital, by pomóc zebrać pieniądze na nowy Oddział Radioterapii dla Centrum Onkologii w szpitalu uniwersyteckim w Milton Keynes. Teatr w MK wspierał w przeszłości wiele fundacji charytatywnych. Teraz placówka będzie się koncentrować na współpracy z nowym partnerem.

Przedstawienie Królewna Śnieżka i Siedmiu Krasnoludków będzie grane przez aktorów przez cały sezon świąteczny. Loteria fantowa i zbiórka pieniędzy podczas przedstawień przy, miejmy nadzieję sali pełnej publiczności, będą formami wsparcia zbiórki. Teatr myśli o innych formach wsparcia tej szlachetnej idei. 

Otwarcie nowego Oddziału Radioterapii jest planowane na 2024 rok. Prace mają rozpocząć się jeszcze w tym miesiącu. Oddział na miejscu w MK będzie sporym udogodnieniem dla wielu pacjentów i ich najbliższych. Dotychczas pacjenci onkologiczni dojeżdżali na radioterapię do Oxfordu. Dzięki planowanej inwestycji choć ten jeden problem im odpadnie.

Milton Keynes Theatre has announced their partnership with Milton Keynes Hospital Charity to help raise funds for the new Radiotherapy Unit at the MKUH Cancer Centre. Milton Keynes Theatre has supported many charities in the past. But this time round they will be focusing on collaboration with their newly announced charity partner. 

Panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be played across the festive season. Charity raffles and bucket collections during, what theatre hopes fully packed audiences, will help to raise funds towards their dedicated goal. Milton Keynes Theatre is planning to introduce even more ways of fundraising and seeks to engage their staff in many exciting activities, which will hopefully support the charity.

New radiotherapy unit is due to open in 2024, with works starting later this month. Hospital authorities hope that new radiotherapy unit within the Milton Keynes University Hospital will make a big difference for the patients affected by cancer and their families. Patients who need radiotherapy as part of their treatment are currently travelling to Oxford. With new unit opening at least this problem will get solved and the treatment will be in place in MKUH.
