An ambitious bid has been launched to help Milton Keynes go smoke free city by 2025. Initiative called Smoke Free MK aims to help the city to achieve this status quicker than anybody else in the country. According to the data, which was revealed lately around 15% of people in Milton Keynes use tobacco (around 30,200 people) and smoking is believed to be the cause of death of 220 people annually. 

Riot Rehab, the organisers of the ambitious campaign reckon that this initiative has slowed down in the country, that's why they want to use Milton Keynes as an example to prove the other parts of the country wrong. The Smoke Free initiative has come up as an answer to not adequate response to quit-smoking targets and in need to apply more universal approach to support smokers and ending tobacco use. 

Riot Rehab launched 'Taking scissors to tobacco use' initiative at centre: mk.
