Milton Keynes is once again opening its doors to the past, present, and future as Heritage Open Days 2025 returns from Friday 12th to Sunday 21st September. With over 250 free events packed into just ten days, this city-wide celebration invites residents and visitors alike to explore the rich tapestry of MK’s cultural and architectural heritage.

From guided walks and historic talks to craft workshops, film screenings, and musical performances, the programme offers something for every age and interest. Whether you're a history buff, a curious child, or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend time with loved ones, MK HODs promises discovery, creativity, and connection—all completely free.

Family Fun and Hands-On Adventures

This year’s lineup is brimming with interactive experiences:

• Cruise the Grand Union Canal aboard the Electra boat
• Join The Parks Trust for nature-themed activities and park tours
• Pedal through the city on a guided bike ride
