Arriva będzie prowadzić specjalne kursy "S" w roku szkolnym

Arriva startuje ze specjalnymi autobusami "S", które będą dedykowane dzieci i młodzieży szkolnej od następnego tygodnia, gdy wrócą do szkół. Te autobusy specjalne będą używane w celu powstrzymania rozprzestrzeniania się koronawirusa wśród dzieci i młodzieży.

Arriva przekazała, że autobusy będą przygotowane do użytku dla szkół, młodzieży z sixth form i college.

Pasażerowie z każdej ze szkół są proszeni, by siedzieć w osobnych "bańkach" w autobusach, by zmniejszyć ryzyko zakażenia. 

Uczniowie w wieku powyżej 11 lat są proszeni o noszenie maseczek. Gotówka nie będzie akceptowana. Wszystkie płatności za bilety powinny być uiszczane online.

Simon Finnie, główny manager Arrivy powiedział: "Będziemy mieć autobusy zarezerwowane jedynie dla uczniów szkół, sixth form i college, zaczynających się od litery "S".

"Jeśli będziesz zmuszony podróżować tym samym autobusem co uczniowie 

z innej szkoły, proszę siądź przy uczniach ze swojej szkoły, najlepiej także swojej grupy wiekowej".

Arriva będzie używać większych autobusów niż zwykle na niektóre kursy.

Jeśli zaistnieje taka potrzeba, będą wysyłane dwa autobusy na ten sam kurs w tym samym czasie, jeden jedynie dla uczniów, a drugi dedykowany innych członkom lokalnej społeczności.

Arriva launch special "S buses" dedicated to Milton Keynes schoolchildren when they return to school next week.

These dedicated buses are to be used to keep school and college students Covid-safe. Arriva say the buses will be for use of schools, sixth form and college pupils.

Passengers from each school are asked to sit in separate "bubbles" on the buses to further reduce the risk of infection.

Students over the age of 11 are asked to wear face masks. Cash won't be accepted generally. 

Payments for the tickets should be done online.

Simon Finnie, Arriva's managing director said: "We will have buses reserved for school, sixth form and college pupils only, the route number for these services will begin with an "S".

"If you need to travel on the same bus as pupils from another school then please sit with others from your own school, ideally from your own year group."

Arriva will be using larger buses than normal on certain services.

If needed they will be running two buses at the same time - one only for students and the other one for the other members of the local communities.
