University of Bedfordshire gotowe, by przyjąć studentów. Obostrzenia koronawirusowe wprowadzone zostały na wszystkich campusach. Wszystkie te reguły muszą być wprowadzone we właściwy sposób, co stanowi dla społeczności uniwersyteckiej priorytet.

Dystansowanie społeczne i wszystkie obostrzenia dotyczące bezpieczeństwa zostały wyjątkowo skrupulatnie zaplanowane i będą wprowadzane we wszystkich budynkach uniwersyteckich w Luton, Bedford, Aylesbury i Milton Keynes. 

Mierzenie temperatury będzie jedną z koniecznych procedur przy wejściu na uniwersytet, zastosowany zostanie także system jednokierunkowy, by zapobiec rozprzestrzenianiu się zakażeń.

Wszystkie wykłady będą dostępne online, ale zajęcia praktyczne w małych grupach odbywać będą się na uniwersytecie.

Reguły dotyczące kwarantanny przygotowane zostały na wszelki wypadek dla studentów zagranicznych. Istnieją także plany, by zainstalować centra testów w obrębie uniwersytetu.

Ruki Heritage, dyrektor Student Experience powiedział: "Jak wszędzie w nowym świecie Covid-19 musimy upewnić się, że nasi studenci będą bezpieczni zarówno przy wejściu na uniwersytet, jak i podczas zajęć.

Zastaną nowe obostrzenia koronawirusowe, dotyczące dystansowania społecznego, pojedynczych systemów wejścia/wyjścia, a także restrykcje dotyczące liczby osób mogących przebywać w danym miejscu w tym samym czasie. 'Reguła Sześciu' stosowana będzie na uniwersytecie choćby w bibliotece, kawiarniach i strefach wypoczynkowych, które prosimy studentów, by używane były w miarę możliwości jak najczęściej."

Zobaczymy jak długo ta sytuacja potrwa bez kolejnych zmian. Wcześniej, czy później więcej restrykcji może być wprowadzonych. Wykłady będą umieszczone online, a zajęcia praktyczne także z czasem mogą się tam przenieść. Studia na UoB zaczynają się 28 września.

University of Bedfordshire is ready to welcome students.

Coronavirus prevention measures have been put in place at all campuses. Applying measures correctly is at the top of Beds' Welcome Week priority list. Social distancing and safety measures have been carefully planned and set out, so that all University of Bedfordshire campus buildings across Luton, Bedford, Aylesbury and Milton Keynes, accommodation and on-campus open spaces are Covid-secure.

Temperature checking is taking place upon entry at every campus building in all the locations and one-way systems are in operation across all Beds building to minimalize the risk of spreading infection.

All lectures will be online but practical and small group sessions will be face-to-face on campus.

Quarantine measures have been put in place at the University's accommodation facilities and student villages for international students arriving in the UK.

Testing forms are a crucial part of the University's safety measures and plans are underway for testing centres to be situated on campus.

Ruki Heritage, director of Student Experience, said: "As everywhere in the new Covid-19 world we have made sure our students will be safe upon their arrival and throughout their university experience.

"All students are expecting to see new social distancing measures across every part of the University, including single entry/exit systems and restrictions on numbers in certain areas and facilities. 

"The Rule od Six applies when using our facilities such as the libraries, cafes and chill-out zones, which we ask our students to use when possible, to help keep footfall off the campus to

a minimum."

We shall see for how long this situation will last in this way. Because sooner or later more restrictions can be put in place, with all the lecturers being available online as well as the practical exercises.

New normality on the University. Teaching is starting on Monday, September 28.
