Bank Anglii ostrzega przed wzrostem inflacji.

Bank Anglii ostrzegł, że inflacja będzie wyższa tegoroczną jesienią z racji tego, że rosyjska inwazja w Ukrainie wywarła ogromną presję na ceny paliw. Inflacja w kwietniu prognozowana jest na poziomie 8%, stąd Bank Anglii podniósł stopy procentowe o 0.25 punktu procentowego. Obecnie kształtuje się więc na poziomie 0.75%, co jest wyrównaniem stanu sprzed pandemii.

Rosyjska inwazja na Ukrainę spowoduje wedle przewidywań ogromną podwyżkę paliw, o 35% już tej jesieni. Wzrost gospodarczy w Wielkiej Brytanii zwolni.

Inflacja już kształtuje się na najwyższym poziomie od trzech dekad, wynosząc obecnie 5.5%.

Bank Anglii pomylił się ze swoimi prognozami na poziomie 2%, podobnie jak inne narodowe banki europejskie. Ale któż mógłby przewidzieć wybuch konfliktu zbrojnego. Pandemia i wojna w Ukrainie poczyniły ogromne spustoszenie w europejskich gospodarkach. Z czasem zobaczymy jak sytuacja się rozwinie.

The Bank of England has warned the inflation will be higher this autumn as Russian invasion in Ukraine put an immense pressure on the energy prices. Inflation is expected to hit 8% in April and Bank of England has raised the interest rate by 0.25 percentage points. It now stands at 0.75%, which equaled a pre-pandemic level.

Russian invasion on Ukraine is believed to make the energy prices higher by 35% this year's autumn. Economic growth in the countries which are net energy importers including UK is likely to slow down.

Inflation is already at the highest level from nearly three decades and stands at 5.5% at the current moment. 

Bank of England target was 2%, but the thing is UK isn't the only European country which misjudged the level of the inflation. Extremely negative events to the economy have appeared in such short period of time and they've badly influenced the economical trend. Pandemic and war made such a negative difference and here we are, the effects of these shocks are visible straight away...
