Szykują się spore utrudnienia w transporcie kolejowym w wielkanocny weekend

Firmy z sektora transportu kolejowego ostrzegają, że prace inżynieryjne, które będą trwać przez okres weekendu wielkanocnego spowodują chaos dla połączeń, które biegną zarówno przez Milton Keynes, jak i przez Northampton.
London Northwestern Railway i Avanti West Coast przekazały, że żadne pociągi nie będą dostępne pomiędzy Milton Keynes i Londynem od Wielkiego Piątku do Poniedziałku Wielkanocnego.
 Stacja Londyn Euston będzie zamknięta przez okres czterech dni, który dobiegnie końca we wtorek, 19 kwietnia w godzinach porannych. Roboty kolejowe  uwzględnią odnowę torów, przełączniki, przejścia i zostaną zrealizowane jako część wartej £83 miliony inwestycji Network Rail w 530 projektów polepszających w założeniu infrastrukturę kolejową. Pociągi i autobusy zastępcze będą działać i być może uda im się nieco pomóc opanować chaos, aczkolwiek chyba się nie da nad nim całkowicie zapanować.
 Nie jest to z pewnością zbyt dobre wyczucie czasu jeśli chodzi o tę realizację i chaos jest pewny, biorąc pod uwagę ilość podróżnych w czasie weekendu świątecznego. East Midlands Railway i serwis Thameslink będą działać jak zwykle z Corby, Kettering, Wellinborough i Bedford do stacji Londyn St Pancras w czasie wielkanocnego weekendu. Transport kolejowy będzie z pewnością ze względu na zamknięcie West Coast Main Line bardziej zatłoczony.

Train operators are warning that engineering works over the Easter holiday will cause chaos to the routes which run through Milton Keynes and Northampton. 

London Northwestern Railway and Avanti West Coast said that no trains will be available between Milton Keynes and London from Good Friday and Easter Monday. 
 Euston station will shut down for the period of four days, which will finish in early hours of Tuesday morning (19 April). Works will include track renewals, switches, crossing and will be done as a part of Network Rail investment of £83 million into 530 upgrade projects. Shuttle trains and replacement bus services will operate and hopefully help to manage this chaos but travel disruptions are expected to be very big and it doesn't seem that anything will change it.
 It doesn't seem to be perfect timing and with many people travelling in the Easter period, chaotic situation is unavoidable. East Midlands Railway and Thameslink services are expected to run smoothly, as per normal from Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough and Bedford to London St Pancras station over the Easter holiday period. Trains are expected to be busier because of West Coast Main Line closures over this coming Easter weekend.
