Lider urzędu miasta MK Pete Marland ostrzegł mieszkańców, że wczesne wskazania pokazały, że 40 osób miało pozytywny test w jednym z dni podczas zeszłego tygodnia. Powiedział również, że 4,794 ludzi miało przeprowadzony test na Covid-19 w ostatnich dwóch tygodniach w MK i 291 testów dało pozytywny rezultat. Liczba przypadków to obecnie 62.7 przypadków na 100,000 mieszkańców Milton Keynes.
Miasto jest wciąż na najniższym stopniu zagrożenia wedle obostrzeń rządowych.
Pete Marland powiedział: "Najlepszą drogą do tego, by zatrzymać rozprzestrzenianie się wirusa jest zmniejszanie mieszania się gospodarstw domowych i wspieranie małych grupek ('bubbles')."
Urząd miasta wspiera 12 szkół w MK, w których uczniowie lub nauczyciele są na kwarantannie.
Jeśli zwiększą się restrykcje pandemiczne, zasady zmienią się radykalnie i warto zadbać, by do tego nie dopuścić.
Miejmy nadzieję, że wszyscy mieszkańcy będą przestrzegać reguł, by uniknąć zaostrzenia obostrzeń pandemicznych.

If Milton Keynes' positive Covid-19 cases per day rate continues it will be bumped up the 'high alert level' tier and face further restrictions.
MK Council leader Pete Marland warned residents that early indications show that 40 people tested positive in one day in MK within last week. He said that 4,794 people were tested in MK in the last two weeks and 291 out of them has positive test result. Number of cases is now at 62.7 per 100,000 people in MK.
Town is still in the 'medium' tier, the government's lowest level.
Mr Marland said that: "The best way to stop the spread of the virus is to reduce mixing between households and support bubbles."
MK Council said it is giving help to 12 schools in the town where students or staff members are self-isolating. If the level of restrictions will be raised up Milton Keynes will face tightened rules regarding Covid-19 measures.
Let's hope that all the residents will carry on following the rules in order to prevent changing government's restrictions measures locally.
